BIRDIE Rules

Start at Hole 1.

  • Example: After playing your 4th turn on Hole 1, move . to the next Hole and restart.

  • Deal cards equal to the “Par” for each player.

  • Players draw one card on their turn.

  • If you have an “X” or “!” card, place it on the table.

This card cannot be removed from your total.

  • Match your cards until the numbers on the top of the card equals zero.

    1. I.e. You match +2, +1, and -3 to equal zero.

  • You may not have multiple subtraction cards and multiple addition cards together.

    1. I.e. You match +1, +3, -2, and -2.

  • You may only play one match per turn.

  • At the end of the Hole lay down the cards left in your hand.

The Hole ends when the turn number is your Par.

  • Record your score and move to the next Hole.

Although a standard game is 18 Holes, for a shorter game you may also play 9 holes.
